Established in 1985, Frame-ups Window Ltd have built a name throughout Sheffield as a leading supplier of Sliding Sash Windows, hardwood and softwood replacement windows, doors and conservatories.
Our team of highly-skilled staff have over 40 years’ combined experience in the trade and take absolute pride in producing the highest quality examples of workmanship.
We service the whole of Sheffield and surrounding areas such as Rotherham, Doncaster, Dronfield, Barnsley, Hathersage, Hope Valley and Baslow and are flexible in travelling further if the jobs right. Our customers are both domestic and commercial – from homeowners wanting to revamp their houses, to small businesses and other companies in the trade requiring window supplies. We also provide subcontractor services if necessary.

At Frame-ups Windows Ltd all our products are designed and manufactured with the environment in mind, ensuring all products used are from a sustainable source.
By using sustainable timber as a material for the construction of our windows, doors and conservatories, it ensures that you the customer is provided with a product that is strong, durable and attractive plus also providing benefits to the environment.
Due to the fact that more trees are planted than felled in managed forests for the use of production, official statistics show that European stocks of unharvested trees are growing at a rate of 252 million cubic meters a year. That equates to the possibility of building 21 million homes.
This increase of planting trees helps in the process of photosynthesis (the absorbtion of carbon dioxide and releasing of oxygen by trees), it has been proven that younger trees are more efficient in this process and therefore the constent felling and replanting of trees will in turn reduce carbon dioxide and increase levels of oxygen in the atmosphere, than those more mature trees that can be felled and used for production.
All timber sustained for construction from managed forests has a positive environmental impact as these supplies are continually restocked, which is a benefit to the global population now and in the future.
Our Products
All our products are protected and preserved by chemicals which have as little negative impact on the environment as possible. We aim to ensure that minimum wastage in production methods is used at all times.
Material & Resources
Frame-ups Windows Ltd strive to ensure all materials used in the production of their products are from a sustainable source.
Wood materials are 100% recyclable unlike many alternative choices, Wood is long lasting (many windows still in use today are over 100 years old) and the only strictly renewable standard construction material available.
Frame-ups windows Ltd guarantee all timber used is from a sustainable source and is P.E.F.C certified (Pan European Forest Certification). For every tree that is felled, another two are planted.
Energy
We aim to use the least amount of energy in producing our products which are sourced from energy saving materials where possible.
By selecting a more thermal effecient product from our range will not only ensure that you as the customer are provided with a more energy efficient home, it will also help to save money on your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint.
Waste
Any waste produced from production is recycled or re-used wherever possible. This includes materials used during the transit of our sourced materials for production and products to you the customer.
